Andrew D. Levine spent more than four decades in accounting, finance, and business before turning to crime fiction. A Certified Public Accountant, he worked in Boston and New York and spent many years as a partner in major accounting firms. That career gave him an insider’s understanding of money, institutions, ambition, and the paper trails people leave behind—themes that now run through his Indian noir mysteries.
 

Travel has been a lifelong passion. From an early fascination with distant places, Levine went on to spend decades exploring the world with his wife. Those experiences—and his habit of looking beyond the obvious—eventually became an important part of the way he approaches setting, culture, and character in his fiction.
