About the Author
Andrew D. Levine was born in New York. He studied at universities in both New Jersey and in England during the turbulent Vietnam War era. After graduating, he built a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant, working in Boston before spending 30 years in New York City, ultimately becoming a partner in a major CPA firm.
Despite his demanding profession, Levine nurtured a lifelong passion for travel. As a boy, he collected stamps and dreamed of visiting the distant lands they depicted — a dream he fulfilled through decades of international adventures with his wife.
India was always a faraway place, but when he and his wife finally discovered it, they fell in love with its energy, history, and contradictions. Those journeys inspired his fiction, weaving together crime, corruption, and human emotion against the backdrop of Mumbai and Delhi.

Writing and Fiction
Levine is the author of the Kabir Joshi – Ananya Rao mystery series, including Death in the Rain, Bombay Reckless, Silent Auction Murder, and The Lily Network, his current release. The series moves from Mumbai to Delhi, combining crime fiction, financial investigation, political corruption, and institutional suspense.
His fiction blends moody atmospherics with fast‑paced investigations, bringing readers into stories where every mystery uncovers more than crime.
